Grampound Road Village CE School

Welcome to Tater Du Class!

Welcome to our incredible Year 3 and Year 4 Class! We have 24 amazing children in our room and we love to learn! Our Teacher is Miss Sarah Hosking and our Teaching Assistants are Miss Lia Revill, Mrs Heather Warne and Mrs Melina Mills.
Our topic this term in Tater Du class is River Deep, Mountain High. In Geography, we will be looking at natural features such as rivers, seas, mountains, volcanoes and earthquakes. We will learning about these features in the UK and around the world. We will also be considering how our emergency services support those in peril in these places. Our Science topic is all about Rocks, and in Music this half term we will be using the Charanga resources to practise our singing skills. We are planning to go to Shelterbox in Truro to enhance our learning. We are looking forward to a fun-packed and industrious half term! Please read our Newsletter to discover all the exciting projects that we are planning!
