Our topic this term in Tater Du class is the Stone Age to the Iron Age. In History, we will learn about the lives of Ancient people from the Stone Age to the Iron Age and what archaeologists do. In Science, we will be studying rocks and soil by looking at different types of rocks and grouping these, and considering how fossils are made. In Art we will be creating our own cave paintings and will also use natural materials to make Stone Age jewellery and pots. Our music lessons will be focused around the language of music, and we will try to learn to play the glockenspiel!
P.E. this half term will take place on Tuesday afternoons until Mr Webb returns later in the term. We will be developing our Health Related Fitness skills. Our RE learning is based around the Old Testament story of Noah's Ark and relates this to the promises that Christians make to each other today.
We are looking forward to a fun-packed and industrious half term! Please read our Newsletter to discover all the exciting projects that we are planning!
