Grampound Road Village CE School

Spring Term Week 10

It was lovely to see so many of you at our Easter Service this week. The children were very excited to show off what they had been practising and I want to congratulate them for a great performance of Remember Me. We have lots of talent in the class and I look forward to doing more next term with them.

This week, the children were able to finish their Iron Man stories. I was very impressed with the high standard of descriptive writing the children produced. Well done to you all. During Maths, we have been practising our 6, 7 and 9 times tables with a variety of activities. Please help your child continue learning their tables as it will help with their mental arithmetic when solving various Mathematical problems.

Sadly, it is the end of our Heroes topic. It has been so insightful and we have all learnt so much, especially the importance of recycling to prevent further plastic pollution. We will be continuing with our Plastic Free Schools project during the next term as there is still more work to be done, so watch this space!

Have a lovely Easter and I will see you in a couple of weeks.
