Gribbin news 19th March 2018

In morning Maths the Gribbins have learnt to subtract using a number line. They are also writing down the number sentence and can read it out. In Literacy they finished the Gingerbread man story and they have been writing sentences to pictures in playful learning. Our role play is now a deconstructed role play to allow more imaginative and collaborative play. So far out of the boxes and fabrics they have made a motorbike, a robot and a ship!
The children have been competing in the sports relief running challenge. The challenge is set for all the schools in the UK to run 1 billion miles. We submit our results next week. It is looking very good so far, I will keep you posted.
Please listen to your child read everyday and sign the reading record book, the children will receive certificates for reading.
Also some parents have sent in observations of their children using the tapestry app. these are great and the children love sharing stories from home, so more of these would be just wonderful.
Have a super weekend!
