Grbbin news 31st October 2017

Gribbin class have started a new topic called 'celebrations.' This week they have been learning about Bonfire night and why we celebrate it. Some children made craft sparklers. We have been learning the story 'How to Catch a Star,' this has inspired some children to make unique pictures and story maps about the story. Some children also made telescopes and sand pictures. In Maths we have been measuring, height, head span and learning about capacity, (hopefully they will be able to explain the meaning of this to you.)
Thank you to all the parents that attended parents evening, I enjoyed having the opportunity to talking to you all. It is lovely spending time talking about each child. The Gribbins are an exceptionally incredible group of children and Mrs Moore and myself are very impressed with their behaviour for learning and their kindness towards each other.
