Grampound Road Village CE School

7th - 11th May 2018

This week we have been busy writing instructions for how to look after a dinosaur in Literacy. We have been using our imagination to think about what we will need to be successful at looking after a naughty dinosaur!
In Maths this week we have been persevering in our learning about fractions. We have been finding fractions of different amounts and have begun to order and compare them.
As part of our topic, we have been researching and watching the volcano in Hawaii erupt. We have been writing a description of the eruption and have been amazed at how the lava has been flowing out of the volcano.
As a class, we have been working hard to make sure our presentation is neat and our handwriting is the best it can be. I have been so impressed with everyone's hard work and determination. Well done!
