What a successful first week (or two)!
Well done to everyone in Holywell class. It’s been a busy first two weeks back at school. The children have been settling into new roles and routines. And, it’s fantastic to say… they’ve settled in really well.
We’ve been learning our new class story (Night Terrors in Cairo) in English and have begun work on arithmetic in Maths. In topic, we’ve already completed a whole series of lessons on micro-organisms and are currently learning about Cornish mining. As a class, we intend to visit Heartlands, in Camborne, to explore the history of Cornish mining – so please keep an eye out for a letter in the near future.
On Monday, we will be visiting an author at Bishop Bronescombe School. We’re all getting excited about this event!
As we now move on from our first few weeks, we’re excited about the learning to come!
