This week in Tater Du we have been busy exploring how plastic affects our world. We have been learning about the impact that plastic pollution is having on the environment and what we can do to help make a change.
As part of 'British Science Week' we have written our own messages in a bottle to support Surfers Against Sewage in calling on the government to implement a 'Deposit Return System' to tackle the issue of single-use plastic. We have created interesting posters to show why we should reduce the use of single-use plastic and ways we can do this.
In Maths, we have been learning about 2D shapes. We have explored them in different places and have been describing them using mathematical vocabulary. We have also been sorting them using different categories to show our understanding of differences between shapes and to show how we know that a square is a square and not a rectangle!
Well done for a good week everyone!
