Another busy week in Godrevy! The Year 2s have been performing in the school play which was fabulous. Well done to all involved. It has also been Transition morning where the children got to meet their new teacher and discuss some of the exciting things that they will be learning about next term.
In class time, we have been making pictograms and looking at 2D and 3D shapes and their properties. We made some 3D cube fish which were rather tricky but we persevered - look at our finished product! We have also been looking back at the year and writing some of our memories.
Friday was a treat day. We brought in toys to play with and came in our home clothes. After Collective Worship, we had a picnic tea and watched a film. We really enjoyed the day.
Year 2s have some Maths workbooks to try over the holiday to keep their brains active. A Homework menu will be sent out shortly to everyone to complete over the summer holiday.
May I take this opportunity to thank you all, on behalf of Miss Tresidder and myself ,for your support over the last term. We have enjoyed teaching your children and wish them lots of luck in their new classes next term.
Have a wonderful summer and stay safe.
