Carne class news 8th May 2017

The children in Carne class kindly made the year 6 children a well done card for completing their sats tests. The year 6 children have been great buddies all year and we really appreciate all they do for the reception class children.

On Tuesday we talked about healthy food and why we need to eat a  balanced diet. We made sandwiches and all enjoyed a light afternoon tea, just like in the story of the lighthouse keepers lunch.

On Friday Carne class joined the children from Grampound Road Pre-school in the Hall for a PE session. We used the large apparatus and all the children demonstrated great care during the session. The children waited patiently for their turn and used the equipment safely. It was delightful to observe the children getting to know each other and being so friendly with one another.

Next week we will be learning how to look after our beautiful beaches and how important it is to recycle.
