We had a fantastic school trip on Wednesday at Carne beach. The children's behaviour was excellent and they were respectful, kind and caring towards each other all day. In fact they were so great that when we had an ice-cream at 'tea by the sea' the National trust lady came over to us to say what a polite and well mannered group of children they were. She even posted a message on the National trust Facebook page saying just that. Very proud moment for me! The day was just perfect and I can see some of these friendships lasting for life, just lovely to see.
Once back in school all the children wrote about their day and once again they demonstrated how much progress they have made this year. They all have a little writing book for the Summer term and we try to produce some writing at least two or three times per week. The other sessions are focused on letter formation which is so important at this stage.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers that came on the trip we couldn't have done it without you!
