Carn class news 6th February 2017

We had a super day out at the Eden project. The children discovered how important plants are to our survival. The children have gained an understanding that plants give us oxygen, clothes, food and chocolate! It was a really good to experience other cultures and we had a true taste of the mediterranean and of the rain forest.

I walked 10,000 steps and the children probably walked 20,000 steps so it was quite tiring, but throughout the day the children were kind and caring towards each other. I witnessed plenty of genuine acts of kindness which was heart warming to see. Some friendships begin in reception class and last a lifetime and no doubt this will be the case with some of your amazing children.

It was a pleasure taking your children to the Eden project. I am very proud of them all!

Thank you to the parent helpers, you were epic!

Happy half term.
