All children should be in school unless they are sick. Parents are required to inform the office first thing in the morning if their child is to be absent with the reason why.
It is extremely important that your child attends school regularly. The national expectations for children’s attendance at school is currently 96.1%. If you know in advance any reason why your child may not be attending school please complete a leave of absence forms to be reviewed by the Head of School. Only exceptional circumstances will be authorised by the Executive Principal.
Attendance and lateness is monitored closely by the class teachers, Head of School, governors and the Education Welfare Officer.
