Today we went to Fistral Beach, in Newquay. We had a wonderful day taking part in many activities and team building games. We went paddling in the sea, built sand castles and played beach volleyball. The children were fantastic as always and had an enjoyable day.
We had lots of fun riding our bikes and scooters today. The children designed their own obstacle courses in groups before having a go on their bikes and scooters.
Today, Fistral class had a go at orienteering. The children had to use a map of the school grounds to locate hidden marbles. The children were excellent, working as a team to locate the missing marbles.
Today, Fistral class tried a variety of sports. The children were split into two teams for a game of rounders. The final result was a draw, a fair result from two excellent teams! We also played handball for the first time with the children enjoying learning a new sport. Our den building was a huge success! The children worked effectively in teams to design excellent dens.
